Interdisciplinary performance duet with Sabine Fleur Scribner ​

!NOT WASTED! is an interdisciplinary, participatory performance duet that invites the audience into a whimsical world where celebration and indulgence become acts of resistance. Visually inspired by a darker, adult version of the fantastical, topsy-turvy universe of ‘Alice in Wonderland’, the piece explores the tension between joy and inner restraint. The performers embody the internal conflict between carefree playfulness and the oppressive voice of the killjoy. Loosely inspired by clownish buffoonery, the performers lead the audience through a surreal theatrical experience reminiscent of a chaotic tea party. Mismatched props are scattered throughout the space, inviting playful interaction and immersing the audience in a world that blends dance, music, clowning, and theatre.
